Friday – 6.15pm (first call) for a 6.30pm start
Saturday – 7.40am (first call) for an 8.00am start
Sunday – 7.40am (first call) for an 8.00am start

  • Athletes must wear FULL Liverpool City uniform, with all the patches in the right places. Uniforms will be closely checked in the Call Room and athletes will be prevented from competing if the uniform is not correct. Region Representative shirts are souvenirs. They can be worn to and from an event (trainings or Family outings) however athletes must compete in their Club uniform.
  • Parking is only allowed in designated parking spots (refer to the map) No parking on grass at any time.
  • There is a limited area for spectators’ tents. Please refer to map. Tents and sheds must be properly secured with weights/sand-bags. NO PEGS are allowed!!
  • This is not a timed Program. The “not before times” are an indication that these events will not start before the nominated time. However, athletes may be called to marshalling/call room prior to that time.
  • Team Managers will be at the Liverpool Club tents to assist with any enquiries and keep track of the program. However, it is the parents’ and carers’ responsibility to get your kids to the events or marshalling tent/call room when their event is called.
  • Parent Duties: Liverpool City has parent helper duties over the weekend. We have divided the duties into 1 hour slots. Please nominated preferred time on the google document.   • Under NO circumstances should you approach an event official. For any carnival/event issues or protests, please discuss the issue with one of our team managers (noted above) within 15 minutes of the completion of the event. Any protests deemed to be frivolous will not be submitted.
  • Spikes/Starting Blocks: Starting Blocks are compulsory. Competitors in the U11’s & U12’s may wear spikes in events run entirely in lanes, javelin, long jump, triple jump and high jump. Competitors in U13 to U17 age groups may wear spike shoes in all track events (except walks), javelin, long jump, triple jump & high jump. Spike shoes must only be worn during the event and are not to be worn to and from the event.Spike length: Synthetic track 7mm maximum High/Long/Triple/Javelin 9mm maximum

    Starting Blocks: Starting Blocks Will be provided. Athletes MUST know how to use and set up the blocks. The use of personal blocks is NOT permitted.

  • Progression to State: U9-U17 top two places at each event of the eight regions will progress to State. Little Athletics NSW then selects the next best eight clear final performances from across all regions. Making a total of up to 24 athletes in each event at state. If any athlete comes in top 2 in their event, please let the Team Manger know and nominate what size Club State Jacket to order. If for any reason an athlete is unable to attend State Championships, please let us know. This will allow the next best across all Regions to attend in their place. 
  • Region Championships is the pinnacle event for out U8 athletes. They do not progress to State but compete for medals in their chosen events.
